After graduating from the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University in Brno, he worked in international law firms Rödl & Partner and Schaffer & Partner in Brno, Prague, and Nuremberg. He regularly lectures at his alma mater in Brno.

Robert Tschöpl focuses on corporate and commercial law, M&A, litigation, insolvency, and debt collection; he is a certified arbitrator at the only permanent arbitration court of the Chamber of Agriculture and Commerce of the Czech Republic.
